Sustainability
We are aware of the effects of the flower industry on the climate crisis and so as a small studio we are trying to do our bit for the planet. Therefore we will only offer weekly bouquets when it's the British flower season, to try and minimise the carbon footprint that imported flowers have. The British season is from April to October so there will be some instances where imported flowers are used for events or weddings outside of these months but we will try and offset this by using British foliage where possible.
We deliver our flowers simply wrapped in recycled brown paper and use recycled kraft bags and biodegradable cellophane for our bouquets needing water to travel further than our local area. During the summer months our flowers are freshly picked and placed in buckets of water at the flower farms before being conditioned and made into bouquets the following day ensuring the freshest possible stems without any air miles. We are constantly learning how to be more sustainable and will always be updating our efforts and practices accordingly.
